The Kozouz Sisters, authors of Motown Lowdown, an advice column
in The Detroit News, are syndicated with an international presence
known as The Lowdown.
Their weekly column has been prominent on the front page of the
Features Section of the Detroit News, one of the top 50 daily
newspapers in America, owned by Gannett, Inc. as well as other
international publications.
The Lowdown is a refreshing
alternative to the traditional advice column; four sisters, four
phases is the column’s mantra. Readers reap the benefits
of having not one, but four opposing viewpoints from the smart
talking Gen X sisters, ultimately reaching a resolution to each
reader’s dilemma. The column has cross-over appeal and has
created quite a buzz, generating questions from an equal number
of male and female, young and old. The four independent voices
create a chemistry, in print and on screen.
The Kozouz sisters named Reham, Rana, Ruba and Leena dish out
advice weekly on such topics as love, dating, career and family.
Each sister contributes a different perspective, as each is in
a different phase in life.
